Following the release of the first teaser poster for SPECTRE, the first teaser trailer made it’s way online last night. Check it out below!

Reaction

This is the kind of trailer I like: something that shows you as little as possible. A couple things to note here…

-Given the very first shot of the trailer, it looks as if this movie will be a direct sequel to Skyfall. This is only the second 007 installment that is a direct sequel. The first was Quantum of Solace.

-The only thing I don’t really like about this trailer is that it dives into a couple clichés with the little dialogue it has. Oh, the main character has a secret that relates to the last movie? Never seen that before.

-I want that car.

-I like these shots of 007 in the mountains. We see James Bond pretty on edge here, getting frightened by just a few crows. He’s clearly a bit jumpy about seeing whoever this guy is.

-And here’s the money shot.

-Now that I think of it, I’M a bit jumpy about seeing this guy, simply because he has one of the most brilliant pieces of dialogue in a James Bond movie. “You’re a kite dancing in a hurricane, Mr. Bond.”

-This eerie rendition of the 007 theme is fantastic.

-Aaaand there’s the unmistakable voice of Christoph Waltz.
